The event is organized by the Embassies of ASEAN countries in Myanmar in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar.
To be present at the Festival were Myanmar Union Minister of International Cooperation – H.E. Mr. Kyaw Tin, as the Guest of Honour, the representatives from the departments of Myanmar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as Ambassadors & Spouses, family members from the ASEAN Embassies residing in Yangon.

After the opening ceremony with the ASEAN flag raising and singing of ASEAN Anthem, the bowling and billiards games were taken place at the ASEAN Friendship Games.
Then participants at the ASEAN Food Festival had a chance to taste traditional food from ASEAN countries such as Myanmar’s Nan Gyi salad, Thai papaya salad (Som Tum), Indonesian noodle (Soto Mie), Cambodian noodle (Num Banh Chok)… Vietnamese traditional spring rolls and noodle (Bun Nem) prepared by the Embassy staffs was very attractive to the most visitors.
