They shared their opinions during the interactive exchange between the delegate members and the directing board consisted of Permanent Deputy Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son, Party Secretary of Ha Giang Trieu Tai Vinh and Chairman of Ha Giang PPC Nguyen Van Son.
The exchange was a part of “Ha Giang Presentation” Conference which was jointly held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ha Giang PPC on 1 February, in Ha Noi.
Italian Ambassador to Vietnam, Cecillia Piccioni, emphasized that Italy wanted to work with Ha Giang province in order to develop tourism since tourism is a global cultural product and Ha Giang’s tourism potential is immense.

For her part, Irish Ambassador to Vietnam Cáit Moran said that Ireland is very committed to supporting Ha Giang in clean agriculture and agricultural development since Ireland is known for its developed agriculture. In addition, from 2009, Ireland has invested over 4 million Euros in helping Ha Giang to build small roads, health and educational facilities, etc.
Gellert Horvath, Co-Chairman of the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (EuroCham), said that Ha Giang is now well aware of its problems and is tackling it by focusing on tourism and agriculture.
Mr. Horvath said that since 2017, EuroCham has been begining to support development in communes and provinces of Vietnam by providing new technology and promoting sustainable development. He expressed his hope that European businesses will pay more attention to these localities to contribute to the development of Vietnam's economy.

According to Michael Croft, Chief Representative of the UNESCO Office in Vietnam, Ha Giang is blessed by nature with a majestic and pristine beauty. Therefore, from the perspective of UNESCO, the provincial leaders need to pay attention to the preservation and protection of its beauty. Particularly, as the second global geological park in Asia - Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark will be undergone a second evaluation by UNESCO experts.
The representative of ActionAid also emphasized the need to continue to help Ha Giang with illiteracy, village development, public service improvement, ect. Mr. Jagat Ballav, Director of ActionAid Asia, thanked the leaders of Ha Giang and Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their support so that ActionAid could fulfill their missions.

At the end of the exchange session, the leaders of Ha Giang Province thanked all the participants for attending the conference and acknowledged the contributions and wishes of the participants. Party Secretary of Ha Giang Trieu Tai Vinh invited all delegates to visit Ha Giang on the occasion of the festival "Khau Vai love market" which will be held on 12 May.
