The central region has another four heritage recognised in the ministry’s decision. They are the Champa Nhan Tower in Phu Yen, the Le Hoan temple of worship in Thanh Hoa, Buon Ma Thuot’s purnishing house in Dak Lak, and Marble Mountain in Da Nang.
The remaining sites included in the list of 11 are those located in the northern delta. They are the Thai Lac Pagoda in Hung Yen, Tho Tang Temple in Vinh Phuc, and Na Hang-Lam Binh nature reserve in Tuyen Quang.
The capital city of Ha Noi has three. They are Tuong Phieu Temple in Phuc Tho district, So Temple in Quoc Oai district, and Dong Da Mound in Dong Da district.
The recognition is part of the ministry’s attempt to highlight the cultural and historical values of buildings and landscapes. According to the ministry, the recognition is also meaningful for the protection of the country’s ancient legacy.
