Shortly after receiving information about the detention on November 29 of the sailors, including Tran Ngoc Son (born in 1975), Pham The Manh (born in 1991) and Nguyen Van Duc (born on 1992), the Vietnamese Embassy in New Zealand worked with Immigration New Zealand to verify the news and clear up the case.
