At the event, Kep provincial Governor Ken Sotha thanked the charity group for their kindly actions, considering it a demonstration of the friendly ties and mutual support between Vietnamese and Cambodian peoples.
Le Ba Hung, director of Chak Angre Hospital, said the charity program was funded by some Vietnamese businesses and agencies and OV’s businesses in Cambodia.
In recent years, the group of Vietnamese and OV doctors have conducted many such programs, offering free medical check-ups and treatment to poor OVs and Cambodians.
The Cambodian healthcare sector has made significant progress, but it still faces a number of difficulties. Such meaningful programs have been highly appreciated by the Cambodian authorities and people.
