The Lao guest, who is on a visit to Vietnam to attend the third conference of Presidents of the front organisations of Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam, highlighted the significance of the conference, affirming that the Lao Front for National Construction (LFNC), along with the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) and the National Council of Solidarity Front for the Development of Cambodia Motherland, will focus on implementing the tri-lateral cooperation programme for the period 2017-2020 signed among the three sides at the event.

Saysomphone reported recent cooperation activities between LFNC and VFF to the Vietnamese Party chief, along with plans to boost links between the two organisations in the coming time.

He said he believes that the relations between the Parties and States, and their front organisations of Vietnam and Laos will develop incessantly, fruitfully and sustainably in the time ahead.

Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong noted that Saysomphone Phomvihane’s visit is an important event, contributing to reinforcing and enhancing the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive between Vietnam and Laos. 

Reiterating President Ho Chi  Minh’s views on the role of front organisations and the cause of national and international solidarity, including the Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia solidarity, the Party leader appreciated the results of the third conference of Presidents of  the three nations’ front organisations.

He suggested the fronts coordinate to well execute the tri-lateral cooperation programme in 2017-2020, concentrating on promoting education about the traditional relations, friendship among the three countries.
