Talking about projects during the 2017-2018 fiscal year, PM Phuc urged the two sides to coordinate with each other to select effective and suitable projects so as to finance them since the first phase.
Regarding capital resources for large-scale and inter-regional infrastructure projects, he called for more support from the WB to the Ministries of Industry and Trade, and Transport, as well as other relevant ministries in building a legal framework facilitating the mobilisation of investment capital under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
He proposed the WB step up cooperation with Vietnam in such priority areas as innovation, hi-tech agriculture, infrastructure and private economic development.
