PM Phuc called on the region, where 14,000 Vietnamese live, to boost its labor cooperation and continue to receive Vietnamese workers.

Praising the organization of the Vietnam Festival in Kanagawa, the government leader urged the prefecture to set an example in tourism cooperation for other localities to follow suit.
He hailed Kanagawa prefecture’s initiative to boost medical ties with Vietnam in order to improve health care for locals, and wished that the two sides will further collaboration in labour and tourism by receiving more Vietnamese trainees and popularizing the two countries’ images.
The Governor said his delegation, which includes representatives from 17 businesses, held a workshop on tourism and investment promotion in Hanoi.
He told the Prime Minister that during the visit, Kanagawa prefecture signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Ha Noi Medical University.
The Governor expressed hope that the prefecture could cooperate with Vietnam in the field, including offering medical tours.
Kuroiwa Yuji expected a list of Vietnamese information technology firms working in Japan be announced soon, noting that Kanagawa prefecture pledges to provide all possible support to them.
