The Economic and Cultural Office of Vietnam in Taipei has contacted the competent Taiwanese authorities to ask them to provide information, clarify the situation and coordinate to deal with the incident so as not to affect tourism and the exchange activities of the people.

Taiwan’s authorities said they are investigating the incident and plan to temporarily stop granting group visas to travellers with International Holidays Trading Travel for allowing the incident happen.
Vietnam’s Foreign Ministry has also asked the National Tourism Administration and the relevant agencies to coordinate to deal with the incident.
