Nguyen Quoc Han, a fisherman of QNg 95806 TS fishing vessel from Vietnam’s central province of Quang Ngai, was heavily wounded while diving on January 20. He was provided with emergency aid and surgery by Chinese relevant agencies, and survived critical conditions.

Vietnam’s Consulate General in Guangzhou province sent representatives to visit the fisherman on January 29.
They thanked Chinese competent agencies for their help and requested the Chinese side to continue assisting the fisherman.
The Vietnamese Embassy in Beijing and the Consulate General in Guangzhou will implement necessary procedures to bring Han home when he recovers his health.
