Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho paid an official visit to Vietnam in November 2018 when he held talks with Minh in the capital city of Ha Noi.
Minh affirmed Vietnam stands ready to share its socio-economic development experience with the Northeast Asian country during the pair's talks.
Minh welcomed recent positive developments on the Korean peninsula, emphasizing Vietnam’s consistent position of supporting peace, stability and cooperation on the peninsula.
He also expected the relevant parties to foster dialogues to achieve real progresses in addressing denuclearization on the Korean peninsula, saying Viet Nam is ready to make practical contributions to the dialogue process between the DPRK and the relevant sides.
