The biggest of Physician Nguyen Ba Nho, director of Soc SonEastern Medicinal Herbs Co., Ltd (in the new urban area, Tien Duoc Commune, Soc Son District, Hanoi.) is that creating an available source of materials to meet the production needs the company.

MrNho is the fourth generation that continues inheriting the tradition of the family in the cultivation of medicinal plants and using this source for treatment. Unlike his predecessor, he focuses on more difficult and common forms of disease such as heart disease, osteoarthritis, cancer, tumors, cirrhosis, tuberculosis, etc. During the time working with the patients, he has made great efforts in searching different treating methods as well as discovering specific remedies. The experiencesobtain for many years give him the capacity to realize which the most effective treating methods are and which plant can be used for terminal illness.

In 2005, he established a company specializing in processing of medicinal plants, with a small initial capacity and mainly handcrafted. In 2015, he imported machines from Europe, with modern technology and capacity of 20 tons per year. For that period of time, the materialsource was his most concern.

He realized that the pharmaceutical market has never been as shabby as it is now, therefore in order to take the initiative in the source of material, he must create it by himself.  "The creation of raw materials has two benefits, the first one is to take the initiative in the source of material, and the second one is to assure the quality of raw materials. I know this will take a lot of time and be quite expensive, but for a sustainable and long-term development, thinking about the way is a must, " - he explained.

After making the decision, he immediately starts his efforts by expanding the production areas of medicinal plantsto greater hectares in the provinces of Bac Ninh, Soc Son (Hanoi), Thai Nguyen with the attention on planting and fertilizingtechniques to increase productivity. Moreover, he also focused on growing such rare species in the market such as ParanignyaTrimera( Olivv) Guillaum, Clinacanthusnutans) , RedCannaceae, Artemisia vulgaris, etc.

In addition, he paid great attention to the taking care of the plants to improve productivity and harvest at the right time; he moreover sought effective methods to process and preservethe medicinal together with retaining the best quality for the sake of the patients.

And the wish of "Clean"

" It is the scarcity that has led to the shabby pharmaceutical market today," Mr. Nho said. Conscientious of an honest physician does not allow anyone to use fake drugs or poor quality drugs to treat patients. Because the most frightening thing is that the disease not only does not go away, it also lasts longer and sometimes even become worse.

Each plant is used for each special disease therefore he grows all potential plants at his production area and then doesn’t have to worry about the source. It can be considered as a completely closed process.

Mr. Nho must also calculate the planning for the production area. People can easily buy a full bunch of medicinal plantsin the very fast and cheap at the market. But there is no control for how the plants are made and how the pesticides are used. Moreover, in the market, for profit, the traders may add or blend extra ingredients to make the raw materials heavier.

Now he has his own production are, his own staff and own production technology. The most important questions are that how the chain operates continuously to meet the current great demand of the market and how to build a brand that gains the trust from customers.

Talking about the value of the technology imported from Europe, he said: “This technology helps dry material in accordance with NaNo standards, facilitating the drug's penetration efficiency up to 100%. There is also a need to change the medication form from slow cooking to powder which enhances absorption and metabolism and brings more convenience to the users.In traditional medicine, the consistent combination of treatment method andblood circulation’s enhancement and immunity increase will bring great effects. Therefore, my prescription for clinical cancer treatment was tested by the Ministry of Health, resulting in 85% recovery andmore than 95% positive change.”

PhysicianNguyen Ba Nho has lots of plans to build material areas and he confirmed that is thevital purpose of his career. It’s time to say goodbye to the dedicated physician but we are impatient to long for the day when we could have chance to contemplate his precious medicinal plant areas.
