Vietnam and Morocco established diplomatic ties in 1961.
The two countries have witnessed strong growth in bilateral ties in the fields of politics, economy, commerce and culture. The two countries have held exchange visits by delegations at all levels, signed and brought into force a number of agreements of cooperation and partnership, and increased the bilateral trade volumes.
