RoK, Vietnamese food and culture to be showcased at festival in late October

As many as 70 pavilions will showcase their products at the festival which is managed by many famous brands from the RoK, including Binggrae, Nongshim, Miwon, Chonggak house, Chungjungwon, Samyang food, and Dongwon, among others.

In addition, several pavilions will be preserved to introduce visitors to the RoK’s traditional 'Kimchi' food and traditional 'Hanbok' costumes, in addition to typical farm produce from the RoK's localities.
At this year's event, visitors will also have an opportunity to attend an EDM party on October 27, with performances by Vietnamese artist Soobin Hoang Son, and meet with several of the RoK’s most famous artists, including Haha and Lee Kwang Soo, on October 28.
Visitors will be entertained with more cultural activities on October 29, the last day of the festival, including a performance by Kim Dong Kyu - the well-known RoK male voice, and movie shows at the Lotte Cinema.
In particular, a RoK-Vietnam Master Chef competition and a RoK-Vietnam's got talent show will be held at the festival which is expected to attract the participation of a large number of participants.
This year festival is jointly organised by the RoK Embassy in Vietnam, the Vietnam Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Vietnam Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, among others, with the aim of strengthening the bilateral relations between Vietnam and RoK across various areas.
The event was first held in 2008 and has become one of the major cultural activities between the two countries. Last year's festival attracted more than 100,000 visitors.
