The official visit to Belarus and Russia by President Tran Dai Quang

President Tran Dai Quang, his spouse and a Vietnamese delegation left Saint Petersburg city on July 1, concluding a four-day official visit to Russia at the invitation of President Vladimir Putin.

President Tran Dai Quang left Moscow for Saint Petersburg city on June 30, continuing activities within the framework of his official visit to Russia. 

Russian media on June 29 ran articles highlighting the ongoing visit by President Tran Dai Quang, saying that his first visit to Russia aims to further deepen bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership. 

President Tran Dai Quang valued the close cooperation and mutual support between the two legislatures of Vietnam and Russia during his meeting with Chairman of the State Duma of Russia Vyacheslav Volodin in Moscow on June 30.

Vietnam and Russia issued a joint statement on the occasion of President Tran Dai Quang’s official visit to Russia from June 28-July 1.

President Tran Dai Quang had a meeting with leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (KPRF) Gennady Zyuganov in Moscow on June 29 as part of his ongoing official visit to Russia. 

President Tran Dai Quang and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on June 29 (local time) expressed particular interest in strengthening commercial cooperation, agreeing on investing more than 10 billion USD in both country.
